Shooting incident transpired at Barangay
Noburan, Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur At about 3:30 PM of May 12, 2018 wherein
victim was identified as Carlos Arapoc Matas, legal age and a resident of Purok
Mahayahay, Dao, Pagadian City.
Four (4) unidentified suspects using cal. 45
pistol and cal. 5.56 M16 rifles base on the fired cartridge cage recovered from
the crime scene shot him to death.
Suspects fled onboard a single motorcycle,
towards the directions of Barangay Langapud, Labangan Zamboanga Del Sur wherein
PIB personnel of ZSPPO and 53rd IB, Phil Army immediately conducted a hot
pursuit operation.
Upon arrival at Barangay Langapud, Labangan
Zamboanga Del Sur a fire fight ensued and as a result thereof, Two (2)
unidentified suspects were neutralized and wounding PSINSP Aiko R Tesoro,
Deputy, PIB, ZSPPO.
Personnel from Labangan MPS together with PIB of
Zamboanga Del Sur PPO and 53rd IB, PA Conducted clearing operation
