LABANGAN,
Zamboanga del Sur (April 15, 2019) - On April
15, 2019 at about 7:30 AM, The person of Police Lieutenant Colonel Mohiden
Maulana Balimbingan (Retired), 65 years old, married, resident of Brgy.
Tapodoc, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur and a Candidate for Sanggunian Bayan in
Labangan Municipality under PDP-LABAN Party.
Personally appeared at Labangan MPS
informing that their three (3) Political Ads/Billboards installed/mounted along
the National Highway of Brgys. Tapodoc, Upper Sang-an and Balimbingan, all of
Labangan municipality were intentionally burned by unidentified suspect/s.
Acting on the said report, PNP
personnel of Labangan MPS led by PLT Fernando Osayan Ordeniza, Officer
In-Charge, proceeded to the reported place of incident to verify the veracity
of said report and conduct investigation. I
nitial investigation disclosed that the
incidents possibly happened at dawn of this date based on the revelations of
some residents near the location where the Political Ads were established.
PNP personnel of Labangan MPS in
coordination with the Municipal COMELEC Officer are conducting follow up
investigation of the incidents.
