del Sur (Aug. 3, 2018) – One person was killed Stabbing incident
occurred at Barangay Binayan, Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 7:30 PM of
August 3, 2018.

Jennifer E. Buco, case investrigator said that in their initial investigation
conducted disclosed, that prior to the incident at around 7:30pm of said date
the victim identified as Pedilino Andilab y Canonyo, 46 years old, married,
Barangay Tanod member and a resident of same place was walking going to their
Barangay Hall to render his duty when waylaid and stabbed several times by
unidentified suspect/s using hunting knife.

Buco added that the victim was hit on his chest caused the latter to fell down,
suspect/s not contented of the fatal stabbed wounds suffered by the victim, attacked
and shot the victim in closed range with the use of undetermined caliber of
firearm hitting on the right side of his head which exited on the left side
causing his instantaneous death.
The
cadaver of the victim is now lies at his residence. Motive of incident is
believed to be personal grudge. (By JONG
